Will be visiting the Marian Kirby library in Mountain Top , PA on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
Will also be in the Poconos on Sunday at the Eastern Monroe Public Library in Stroudsburg at 1:30 p.m. Thanks to the folks at Penn State University and Marywood University for hosting me last month.

Enjoyed your program at library last Sunday. There was a knot of politicos outside the library as I left work. I asked them if they had attended the program on Sunday: "Matt WHO?", "No, I wasn't there" etc. I suggested, gently, that with all these casinos etc. they SHOULD have been there. Screw 'em.

I have read "The Quiet Don". I enjoyed it emensely, and was looking forward to Matts appearance in Scranton,"The Friendly City",(by the way)' and was frankly surprised that they were going to allow you to speak in Scranton. So it comes as no surprise that "they" cancelled your appearance. Your expose', honest in its portrayal of the area, was an honest glimpse into the underbelly of northeastern Pa. And frankly answers a lot of questions as to why the area, and it's citizens feel downtrodden. Leave a Reply. |
